Committed to finding ways out of the coercion/self-sacrifice mire of conventional parenting. We are variously critical rationalists, libertarians, home educators, attachment-parents, but we take our ideas where we find them.

There is now an as-yet-to-be-formally-titled TCS Blog over here. It's not run by Sarah Fitz-Claridge (hence the uncertainty over the title so far), it's a co-operative produced written by various people in agreement with the philosophical ideas. As Rational Parenting has been slowing down lately, the TCS place might ultimately be where we move our ideas over to. But one must wait for the process of evolution to see what happens. Who knows...? :-)
I bought a table-tennis set for £2.99 in a cheapo shop. Table tennis can be enjoyed by all ages. Here's how:
Toddlers: learning how to hit the ball instead of the table
Small kids: learning how to hit the ball so it lands back on the table instead of bouncing off the ceiling and all four walls
Bigger kids: learning how to keep a rally going as long as possible
Older kids: learning what the rules are and using them
Parents: working out pent-up marital aggression late at night in a non-violent competitive way (men have no great strength advantage when it comes to ping pong)
